This is a little bit higher than the record of the previous day. The total number of recorded cases as of 29/10/20: Total cases recorded are: 62,521 confirmed, 58,249 discharged and 1,141 deaths.
“Our discharges today include 66 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with new case management guidelines. A breakdown of cases by the state can be found via the website.
Furthermore, the NCDC disclosed their efforts in curbing the spread of the virus especially as orientation camps open.
“This week, supported by the Presidential Task Force (PTF), we trained communication teams of state ministries of health, National Orientation Agency & National Youth Service Corps across the 36 states + FCT. The training aimed to strengthen their risk communication capacity as NYSC orientation camps reopen in context of COVID-19.”
